How much does asbestos removal cost in Sydney?
Honestly? It depends. Every job is different — the size, where the asbestos is, how easy it is to access, and the type of material all affect the price. Are you licensed for asbestos removal?
Yes — we're licensed with SafeWork NSW for non-friable asbestos removal. That covers the vast majority of residential and commercial asbestos jobs — sheeting, fencing, eaves, vinyl flooring, roof tiles, and more. If we identify something that's outside our scope, we'll tell you straight and point you to the right people. No guessing, no shortcuts.
What's the difference between friable and non-friable asbestos?
Worth knowing before you touch anything. Non-friable is the bonded stuff — cement sheeting, roof tiles, fence panels, vinyl flooring. Solid, less likely to release fibres, but still needs a licensed removalist to handle it safely. That's us. Friable is the dangerous one. It's loose, crumbly, and releases fibres into the air easily. If we find it on your job, we'll be upfront with you and refer you to an appropriately licensed contractor. Your safety comes first — always.
Do we need to leave the house while you're working?
Not always. For bathroom, laundry, and kitchen jobs, most of our clients stay home — we isolate and seal off the work area and make sure no one enters the work zone or the route we're using to carry materials out to the truck. You just need to stay clear of those areas while we're working.
For larger jobs like roof sheeting, full demolitions, or extensive external works, we'll let you know upfront if vacating is necessary.
Either way, we'll walk you through exactly what's needed before we start — no surprises.
What parts of Sydney do you cover?

How long does a demolition job take?
A full house demolition is usually done in1–5 days. Shop defits and commercial strip-outs we often knock over overnight or across a weekend so your business isn't sitting idle. We'll give you a proper schedule with your quote — no vague "a few days" nonsense.
Do I need council permits? Who sorts that out?
Most demolition jobs in Sydney need a DA or CDC from your local council. We'll walk you through exactly what's required for your job and help coordinate with your builder or project manager. You won't be left googling it at midnight.
Do I get a clearance certificate after asbestos removal?
Yes — always. Once the job's done we organise an independent air monitoring inspection and issue a clearance certificate confirming everything's clean and safe. It's a legal requirement in NSW and important paperwork if you're selling, renovating, or handing back a commercial tenancy. We handle it as part of the job.
